St. Zachary Catholic School

The distinctive purpose of St. Zachary School is to create a Catholic educational community for students in preschool through eighth grade.

Our school is certified by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools.  The faculty hold Bachelor's or Master's degrees as well as State of Illinois Certification.

Our students consistently score above average on nationally recognized achievement tests.  Our students actively participate in liturgical and other devotional practices as a means of developing moral values, ethical standards of conduct, and integrity of character.

Your children will experience a learning environment at St. Zachary that emphasizes academics based on our strong curriculum which utilizes traditional learning techniques as well as engaged learning.  The faculty provides students many opportunities to work cooperatively in groups and interact academically with faculty and students in other grade levels.

In addition to a challenging curriculum we also offer weekly mass with student participation, interscholastic Athletics (basketball, volleyball, softball), full-day kindergarten, morning and afternoon 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool, before and after school care, a computer lab, physical education classes, and a music program.
