ZAX Youth Group

Welcome to the
St. Zachary Youth Group!

Welcome to the St. Zachary Parish Youth Group page!  We always encourage new members to join us at any time.

The youth group is all about living a Christian lifestyle and forming young Catholic leaders.  We have meetings about 2-3 times a month (usually Sunday evenings) in which we socialize, have group discussions, pray, do service projects, and play games/sports.  Some of our service projects have included a coat drive, a canned food drive, an Archdiocese Youth Ministry Service Day and Mass, making sandwiches to be delivered to the homeless, helping at the church's Silent Auction, and participating in the Feed My Starving Children program.  In addition to serving Christ by serving one another, these service opportunities are a great way to get service credit hours for confirmation, school requirements, and job/school applications.  We have also hosted social activities such as mini-golf and bowling, and we have gone on a ski/snowboard trip the past three years!  We always are open to ideas of ways that we can spend time together and with Christ.

Please join us for our meetings.  Be advised that at least some of the group members often go to the gym for part of the meeting time, so we encourage you to wear gym shoes if you would like to participate!
