Communion and Confirmation

Sacraments

First Holy Communion and Reconciliation are two consecutive years of preparation, as required by the Archdiocese of Chicago. First Communion prep typically begins in 1st grade and is celebrated in 2nd grade.

The Confirmation preparation track is integrated into our 7thand 8th-grade program and requires a two-year commitment (sacrament is typically received in 8th grade).

RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children)
A program for children/teens who have not been baptized or were baptized in another Christian Church (Lutheran, Baptist, Evangelical, etc.) and now want to receive the First Eucharist, or who were baptized but have not received any formal religious education or the sacraments of First Eucharist or Confirmation.

Informational Confirmation Parent Meeting (7th grade only) – Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 7 pm
